Baby Aspirin...
I just got a call from my RE's office to tell me to stop taking Baby Aspirin - I've been on it since I started with them in February.
They didn't really give me an explanation outside of "It's no longer our policy to 'prescribe' baby aspirin to RMA patients."
What does that mean? I'm getting no clarification from them, but everything I read tells me it's good and helps with implantation.
Do I keep taking it and ignore them, or do I listen to them and stop?

Re: Baby Aspirin...
I'd stop. You are also on a different protocol now that you are doing IVF. Maybe that has something to do with it They might not want your blood to be too thin. I know my dad just had a procedure and he had to stop taking his bloodthinners for a week. Not sure if one would have anything to do with the other.
Maybe one of the other IVF girls could chime in here.
ETA: BTW, my Dad didn't have and IUI or IVF after I re-read I said

Re: Baby Aspirin...
I took baby aspirin last time I did IVF. They probably want you to stop so your blood can thicken in your uterus.

Re: Baby Aspirin...
Dr Kreiner had me take BA during my IVF's withhim, and Cornell did not...
But, after finding out that I had blood clotting issues, I now take them again. I am told to stop taking them the last night of stims, and then restart the day after ER.
Each clinic is different, but I am not sure why they changed their minds. I'd call and ask for a better reason...

Re: Baby Aspirin...
Okay, just talked to my nurse and she told me to stay on it.
Because I've had two early miscarriages/chemical pregnancies she said stay on.
RMA is no longer starting people on it unless they see clotting or other issues, so it's just not a wide-spread protocol anymore.
Thanks for the input girls!
