I think we started around 4 weeks maybe? She's not too crazy about it though. She'll go in it and as long as you are bouncing her she does OK but you can't stand still for a second. We want to try again when she can face outward.

Same as Jen, I think we started using it around 3 or 4 weeks... I think with the instructions it tells you the minimum weight requirements (I think it's 8lbs). On days when she was terribly gassy and couldn't fall asleep, I would put her in it and walk on the treadmill on the lowest setting - worked like a charm. Now, we use it with her facing outward and she absolutely LOVES it. We do that anytime we go shopping now... she's totally absorbed with watching everything as we walk around

I started using it (Baby Bjorn) around 4 weeks and Julia loved it!! So much easier to get shopping done instead of lugging the stroller everywhere.

I used Baby Bjorn at 4 weeks he loved it. I put him in it so I could clean my house

I started using it as soon as Jack hit the 8 pound mark. I recently bought a carrier to use with him that I think is much better than the baby bjorn and will grow with your baby. I got it at Ergobabycarrier.com
You can carry them in the front like the bjorn, on your hip or on your back piggy back style when they get older. Jack loves to ride in it on my back and is great for when you don't want a stroller.
If I had known about this one I would have gotten it instead of a baby bjorn.
