Baby Blanket
I started this blanket before I knew I was pregnant. I said it would go to whoever was next to have a baby, which turned out to be me. 
It took me quite a while to make because the stitches are so small. I used 9 skeins of wool  (although they were the smaller bundles). And, I've been working on another project along with this one, so it took me about 3 months with stop and go.
Anyway, just thought I would share the finished product. The pattern didn't call for this, but I would like to add a satin ribbon to weave along the edge. Image Attachment(s):

Janice, you'll be able to do it before you know it. If you can do a scarf, you can definately do a blankie.

If you can do that, then you can do a blanket. It's like one huge granny square...and usually the patterns are simpler than in the granny squares
