Baby Depot

Has anyone bought any of their major stuff here, like strollers, car seats, pack n plays or high chairs? If so, do you know why their stuff is cheaper? Are they just older models and fabric patterns? I have been so undecided about my stroller and carseat, and I found a pattern that I love on their website that they do not have at BRU or BBB.

Does anyone have any feedback about this store??

Re: Baby Depot

My friend actually registered there several years ago. I think it is good if you do not have a specific furniture set in mind, b/c you buy what is there. From what I remember you cannor order. We got her a bassinette there for $79. It was the Kolcraft which was $149 everywhere else. It was an older pattern, but I don't think it was discontinued. They had several Graco products, but I remember we could not find a complete set of one pattern (Travel system, PNP, etc).

She got a great price on the crib & dresser, but they were not a matched set. They were the same colour wood though, so you could not really tell.

Their baby clothing section is HUGE though...bigger than most baby stores.

I went there but the store is a mess. Just by looking at the stuff it looked cheap while it may not be at all.

I think if it was clean and straighten up it would look more appealing to me.

I went to both BBB and BRU. I prefer BBB. Better selection (IMO!) and staff is more knowledgeable and friendlier.

I will definitely agree that the store looks like it was jsut robbed or something, and the staff is DEFINITELY not as knowledgeable as in some other stores.
