Baby dress shops in Queens or LI?
Any place I can go with a decent selection for occasion dresses?

Regular dresses or like a baptism dress?
OK Kids in Lake Success has both. There's also one on woodhaven blvd but I forgot the name. Jcpenney and sears carry a nice selection of occasion dresses, Macys too.Little Dickens in Centereach. HTH

There are some shops on Fresh Pond Road that definitely have christening outfits and some also occassion dresses.
