Baby Einstein Lights & Melodies Mirror-Yay or Nay?

This was recommended to me when I posted about DS screaming in the car, but the reviews on Amazon are very mixed. A lot of people are complaining about installing, esp in SUV. I have a Toyota Highlander...Should I buy it or pass on it? TIA!

Huge NAY!!

DD loved looking at the lights in the store so when DH got a new car I splurged on the $30 Baby Einstein mirror (the others are all around $15). There's no possible way to put it in so that the baby can see themselves in the mirror or so you can see the baby. It tilts up towards the roof of the car because the battery pack is on the bottom of the back.

I even wrote to the compant to complain- they didn't do anything about it, but at least I got to vent!

Now I use it as a floor mirror Chat Icon

PS- I have a Nissan Altima and DH has a Honday CRV- it didn't work right in either.

Thanks! ITA, it is a bit pricey for a car mirror...

We bought it for DS for a long road trip. It fit fine on the head rest of our Dodge Grand Caravan. He was able to see the lights. And he could see himself in the mirror without any problems. 7 months later and we are still using it...
