Baby Friendly Ottoman as coffee table yes or no?
I saw this coffee table/ottoman on overstock and was thinking of purchasing. Do you think its baby friendly for a little crawler who is on her way to walking?
I also saw this other ottoman with trays that also has storage inside. Not sure if I like it as much, but seems to be more friendly. What do you think and which would you buy? Image Attachment(s):

It's up to you. If it's something YOU and DH love for the home then get it. When getting furniture I try to pick based on what we love and what looks good. If it's safe for DS then it's a bonus.
We have a similiar ottoman we got with the house. DS doesn't spend a ton of room in our den anyway b/c of the big TV, electronics, surround sound speakers, etc. When he does go in there he doesn't even notice the ottoman b/c he wants to hit the buttons on the stereo. WE have more "toddler friendly" rooms we stay in that does have safe coffee table and his toys in bins.

If you are truly talking baby friendly for falls, then I would get the all leather on. Not the one with wood. Defeats the purpose, KWIM?

I have a small version of the one with trays and storage. I leave the soft top on most of the time and switch it to the trays when we have people over so there is a place for snacks and drinks. Its perfect for hiding toys too.

I'd get the one with the storage! Baby safe and space to store some extra toys, can use trays with guests. I like multi purpose items.

We have the one with the storage, but its a small one. We recently got a new couch and decided to get rid of all our bulky furniture. I love it! We keep all our movies in it in DVD books to save space and it looks great too!
