Baby Furniture - When to look?

When did you ladies start looking at baby furniture? I just entered my third month and DH and I were talking about going to look this weekend. How long does it take usually for the furniture to come in? I've heard it can take six months in some cases. Can anyone please share when they started to look or when you plan to start? Thanks!

I started to look in my 6th month. However, I realized pretty quickly I wasn't leaving myself with much time. It honestly depends on where you order from. I looked in Buy Buy Baby, Behrs, Pottery Barn Kids and Bellini. I ended up ordering from Bellini. Bellini along with BBB and Behrs all take about 12 weeks for delivery. I think Pottery Barn Kids was 4-6 weeks from what I remember. Other places may only take a couple of weeks. Some people on here have mentioned that certain furniture lines from Babies R Us were delivered rather quickly. The best thing to do is to look around and get an idea of what type of furniture appeals to you most. If you do go with one of the places that takes 12 weeks for delivery, you may want to order no later than your 5th month, just to be on the safe side.

I am a little over 5 months and ordered my furniture last week. They said it takes around 12 weeks for my set so I should have it right before my last month which is ok with me. That way I can wash everything, paint and set the room up.

Thanks ladies. I think we will look this weekend but probably not order until February/March.

I ordered after my level 2 so probably around 22 weeks or so. I ordered from BRU and they said it would take 12 weeks. The furniture came in really fast, the glider took the full 12 weeks.
