baby gate questions...
I'm going shopping for baby gates this weekend and am trying to figure a few things out...
1. Do pressure mounted gates really hold up well? Is there anything I should watch out for?
2. How would installing one work if there's a banister at the top of the stairs? I'm assuming there's some kind of kit I would have to buy?
I'm really confused over baby gates!

You should never use a pressure mounted gate for stairs. It is to dangerous.
I love Kidco gates. They come at various lengths, have extensions and have kits to attach to the banister. I have 2 so far and we have to add a 3rd baby gate.

i'm sorry but i'm not much help! i just wanted to say baby gates also confuse me very much! we got one last weekend to put of the botto of the stairs and had the hardest time figuring out what to get because we have an iron banister that has skinny poles. We got a pressure mounted one and so far it seems really sturdy! good luck!
