Baby girl hair
What do you do with it? My dd is 16 months and has thin, stragly hair that flies everywhere when I take off her hat. She pulls clips out in seconds. Brushing does little good. I do not blow dry her hair cause she would flip. I have trimmed her bangs, but her hair is just crazy. Any suggestions?

Re: Baby girl hair
I had the same problem with my DD until I noticed that anytime my SIL had her overnight that her hair was much more in control - turns out that she had been in the the habit with her kids to put any type of baby lotion in their hair. She had babies with cradle cap & her mom had told her to use the lotion & she just continued to use it. She did the same thing with my DD even though she didn't have any problem, but the end result is very soft & controlable hair!

Re: Baby girl hair
I put it in pig tails or half up/half down using little hair rubber bands.

Sydnie is only 5 months but her hair is the same an I refuse to cut her bangs so I started using those baby rubber bands. They are awesome. She's so little though she doesn't bother with them.

Thanks for all your responses. I am definately going to try the baby lotion. I don't really think her hair is long enough for any type of pig tails but maybe I will give that a try as well. I am pretty dense when it comes to this Thanks again

Re: Baby girl hair
for my little cousins i always would run a baby wipe through their hair (i know sounds gross) but something in it really tames their hair. and its easy while your out since you most likely have them with you anyway! perfect for hat hair fly away. HTH

I do the same exact thing. It's the only quick fix when we're out. Plus I keep a brush and hair clips in my bag so whenever we go out I always wait to do her hair till we actually get to the place. The few times I did it before we arrived she would just pull out every clip and scream the entire time.
