baby handling
When you first had the baby and you had relatives over did you let them watch the baby while you and your DH slept or took a shower? My Mom is telling me if I go to take a nap to take the baby with me while DH can visit with family or that we should try to shower or whatever before people come over. She says this only because if God forbid someone drops the baby or something else happens while I am doing something. I just don't know if it's to far-fetched. I do trust my parents as well as his parents.

Re: baby handling
The only people who have visited so far is my parents and my sister...and both DH and I were completely comfortable leaving the baby with them while we were not in the room.

Re: baby handling
I never felt comfortable sleeping or showering when people were visiting. I wouldn't worry about taking the baby into the bathroom when you shower because god forbid something happens to him while they're holding him. It seems excessive from my end.

Re: baby handling
I don't know, but that seems a liitle dramatic to me. Though it sounds EXACTLY like something my aunt would tell me.
