baby kittens w/ pics
We found baby kittens in my MIL garage yesterday. We tried to feed them some milk but they wouldnt take it. The mother wasnt there for 2 days but today she came back to nurse them We are hoping they will be okay. Here are some pics...
UPDATE: FYI this isnt our cat its a neighborhood cat so we dont even know who the owner is. We tried to see where she was coming from but she doesnt come out during the day only early mornings and late night. Image Attachment(s):

They are adorable, that breaks my heart.
Does anyone know what they should do? It's probably not a good idea to leave them on the street, even with their mom. Anyone?

How precious! While I do think in the future (maybe when they are 4-6 weeks old) it would be good to trap them to be spayed/neutered and adopted, I would not try to do it now. They are too little and as long as the mama is taking care of them, I would just let them be. It was wonderful that you tried to feed them when the mother wasn't there. You are obviously a caring person

It is probably no one's cat if she is outdoors and not spayed.

Same thing with the stray we are caring for, too. We never know where she is the rest of the day.

I also wanted to add, if you do try to feed them again, kittens are not able to properly digest cow's milk. You would have to make a "Mother's milk for kittens" or buy some from a vet. I will see if I can find a recipe on the web. We had to feed kittens that were abandoned and we had to make this mother's milk concoction but I was a kid so I don't recall what is in it.
And a question, does anyone know if the mom would abandon them if she senses they were handled by people? I am not sure about this but just got worried thinking about it.

I don't think the momma would abandon them.
I have also seen kitten formula at Petco.
Please do trap them and the momma in a few weeks and get them spayed/neutered.
