Baby Lotion Question
DS is 10 weeks and right now the only product we use on him his the johnson and johnson bath soap for his bath. But his skin feels dry to me so i am wondering if i should start using lotion? But his skin is very sensitive and he often gets little rashes so i don't know if this is the best idea? At what age did you start using lotion and what lotion did u use?

Re: Baby Lotion Question
I've always used lotion after baths. Right now we are using Aveeno and like it alot. It's formulated for sensitive skin. We get it in bulk at Costco.

Re: Baby Lotion Question
I just tried Johnson and Johnson lotion the other day b/c DS seems so dry and I had some samples. He seems a bit better and I like the scent. I did not want to use a ton of products on him but I am glad I tried a small amount.

Re: Baby Lotion Question
We had a big problem with skin drying out even though we were using J&J & Aveeno lotion. I think DS has very sensitive skin. We switched to Aquaphor wash & cetaphil lotion and DS has been great ever since

Re: Baby Lotion Question
Once in a while I use lotions but for the most part I use baby oil. DS has had some mild irritations from some lotions but never a problem with the baby oil.

Re: Baby Lotion Question
Both my kids have dry skin but DD's is worse. I would stop using J&J because it is very drying. I started using Cetaphil soap and notice a huge difference on DD's skin. Then I would try either Aveeno, Aquaphor or Eurin calming relief. Alot of the baby products are heavenly scented and dry out their skin.

Re: Baby Lotion Question
I always use J&J lotion on my DD after a bath. When I notice her skin is getting too dry I use Aquaphor for a few days.
