Baby monitor question
I registered for the portable video baby monitor from BRU and my friend called me yesterday saying one of the reviews showed it picked up pictures of her neighbors baby. I live in a development and do not like that idea whatsoever. Every monitor has at least a few bad reviews. Can you recommend one to me?

Can you find out which one he chose? I'm curious also about monitors.

Re: Baby monitor question
We had a Graco video monitor on our registry which I found out today has been recalled. We picked up the Safety First one today. I know my SIL likes hers but I am also in a complex and am now worried about that too

Re: Baby monitor question
i registered for the sony one that was recommended in baby bargains because it has lots of different frequencies (like, 27) that you can try to get the least interference possible.
of course, i have no idea if the one i chose will be good or not!
maybe try posting this on the parenting board to see what the BTDT have to say?

Re: Baby monitor question
You run the risk of picking up your neighbors with all monitors. For audio monitors I had to try four before I found one that didn't get interference (turned out to be a cheap one that worked best in my case, but I bet its different depending on what your neighbors have, not only for monitors but also wireless internet, cordless phones, etc....)
