baby moving question

Is it normal for the baby to just not move as much on some days, or a few days in a row? I feel like some days the baby moves non stop, and some days - like today, a slight stir here and there... is that normal?

Re: baby moving question

DD used to do that to me all the time. She'd be all over the place for a couple days, then take a couple quiet days.

i used to drink something sweet or just lie down on my left side and she would move, or i would jiggle the tummy to wake her up, bad i knowChat Icon

Normal. As you get closer to the end the baby has less room to move. If you don't feel it for 24 hours I would call the doctor.

Yeah - at 28 wks my dr. made me a nervous wreck by giving me the sheet about needing to feel movement everyday, counting the kicks, etc....

But the baby has been so active I haven't been worried - its just some days, when the movment is so slight, I get the way I was at 15 wks, where I'm wondering - was that the baby, or gas?
