Baby Names did anyone use combinations of yours and DH's name?
We did and that is how we came up with: Milani
My name is Michelle and his is Daniel. We took the Mi from my name, and the Lani from his..and voila.
Some of the other choices would have been these and they are pretty funny:
Dachelle
Maniel
Danchelle
Midani
Chelleaniel (sounds like a new breed of dog)
Chellani

I have a friend who's last name was Rutherford, so they used that as their firstborn's first name and they call him Ford for short.

If we were having a girl we talked about Miley
(Michael + Kimberly)
but we are having a boy!! 36 Weeks and still no name for him

I don't mean this the way it sounds and maybe I am sleep deprived, but how does "Lani" come out of Daniel?
I love the name tho. One of my co-worker's daughter is named Milani. DS is just named after DH. But if we had a girl we were considering Parker, Floyd or Linton (all family names, the last one being my maiden name) as middle names.

Take away the D and E and put the L in front and it is Lani.
