Baby Oxyclean & HE washers
I have never used it before, but am wondering if I should start b/c DD"s starting to have some stains that just aren't coming out with the Totally Toddler spray I've been using.
Can you use it with HE washers? How do you do it?
ALso-- does it work on old stains that have already been run through the washer & dryer?

Re: Baby Oxyclean & HE washers
I just put in the pre clean section in our washer. We have an LG.
For set in stains, I LOVE Shout advanced!! It takes out everything even set in dried stains!! That stuff has taken out dried tomato sauce, peaches, olive oil and butter stains
I use oxyclean in every wash too.

Re: Baby Oxyclean & HE washers
I have a front loading HE washer. I put a scoop in the the prewash section and set the prewash cycle. I have never had a problem getting ANYTHING out with it. Even stains that have sat in the hamper all week. And when I first started using it, it did take out old stains from previous washes...not all of them, but most of them.

I don't even know any other section of the washer besides for detergent Better get out my book
Oh, thanks for the Shout tip! Maybe I'll pick that up too. Tomato sauce is my nemesis, so if Shout works, I'm all for it!

Re: Baby Oxyclean & HE washers
You can also get the baby oxyclean in a spray bottle and just spot treat before you do the wash. I was doing that in the beginning before I realized that it was just easier to wash everything with it. But I do keep a bottle handy for my own clothes and DHs (because I only use it in the washer with DSs clothes), as well as other household items like the tablecloth. For us, it's taken out sauce, grass stains, blood and chocolate. I have no problem letting DS go to daycare in a white shirt, even when it's pasta day and they've been fingerpainting, cause it takes out everything!

Oh, so you don't use the spray on your son's clothes, just the stuff that runs through the washer? Just trying to figure out what I should buy.

All I know is that I'm hijacking all of these ideas.... my dad just got a new front loader HE washer, and I'm just sitting there
I need stain removal ideas!
