Baby poop question-sorry TMI
Sorry this might be TMI for some.
My DS is 4 weeks old. His normal poop schedule is usually once a day and a big amount. For the last 1.5 days EVERY time I change him he poops. It is the same consistency/color as before but now it is only like a tablespoon amount each time. He hasnt skipped a pooped in any of his diapers in the last 1.5 days.
Is this normal? I am waiting to hear back from the pedi still but I am getting nervous.

I BF but I am guessing its normal because as your baby gets older and bigger they absorb more of their food because they need it.

I'm sure it's normal, Deb. Not to be gross, but think about adults. Sometimes we go once a day, sometimes 2. Are you feeding him more of an amount in each bottle? Maddie was pooping after every feeding (she's bfed). And now she goes 2 times a day, sometimes only once. Let us know what your pedi says :)

Thanks everyone. Pedi said it is normal as long as it isnt huge amounts each time. Since it is small amounts, his body is just digesting the formula and it is nothing to be alarmed by. So for the time being, I have me a little pooping machine!
