Baby proofing
Is anyone baby proofing there house now? Or will you wait until your baby is old enough to walk?

We're waiting.
No need to do it now since it will be a few months before the baby is mobile anyway. One less thing to worry about now is a good thing.

I've been thinking about it though.... There are so many concentrated hazards in the kitchen that I think I'll just block the whole room off and be done with it 
(china cabinet with $$$ stuff, a tall pot rack with heavy pots, cleaners)

we are waiting.
we'll put a baby gate so DC can't get into the kitchen, keep the bathroom door closed at all times too.

I bought a house in November and the people before me had a baby. Right now, the downstairs outlets and the baby's room outlets have the sliding things on them. There is also the bumper guard on the fire place. We actually took the freezer lock and the cabinet locks off, they were way too annoying.

i'm waiting to see if we renew our lease in september before i make the effort. if we stay, the baby will be four months which is a good time to baby proof.

We're waiting, although we did get a baby gate and outlet covers at the shower, but we're not installing anything until later.
