Re: Baby registries
I havent had a problem with my registry yet, although im sure i will judging from what everyone else says... that being said, i WISH i wouldnt have registered there, and consider changing it EVERY DAY before my shower invites go out.. Most of the reason being their new ridiculous return policy!!

Re: Baby registries
So far so good, but I did it mainly for location purposes. For baby registeries:
1. Amazon-not many of my guests order online
2. Target, too confusing (ie too large)
3. Buy, Buy, Baby-not convient for our familes
I think you'll find just as many complaints about babies r us as you would about Macys for bridal registries.

Re: Baby registries
The one problem i've heard a few times is no return w/out receipt, even if the item is on your registry. Not even a store credit. So if you get doubles (sometimes things don't come off registry) they won't take it back. One friend had something that was clearly from babies r us, I think it had the store name on it, and they still wouldn't give her a credit even.
**this is just what i've heard through word of mouth.
Thank you for all your suggestions

I had an item on my registry, had no reciept, and the person bought it off my registry. I got credit for the item.
I had an item I did not put on my registry, someone bought it, BUT they also bought other things from my registry. I still got credit for the item.

Re: Baby registries
I am doing BBB and PB Kids.
According to Baby Bargains, if you have a BBB accessible, that is the best store to shop at-- so, I took their advice.

Re: Baby registries
I registered at BRU b/c that's the only store near me and also near my friends and family. So far, I haven't had any problems, but I also haven't received most of the gifts yet.
