Re: Baby Registry MUST HAVES!!
You MUST get the Fisher Price Newborn to Toddler Rocker. Emerson LOVES it......it's been a lifesaver.
* Bottle Warmer (didn't think I needed one until I had her and now I cannot live without it)
* Cloth Diapers to use as burp cloths......get a ton!!!......you wouldn't believe how many I go through in a day.
* Lots of bibs

diapers in all different sizes
This one I would have to disagree with - UNLESS you get register for the small packs. Only b/c until your DC is here, you won't know which brand of diaper is the one that will work for them.
I tried Huggies, Pampers, Especially for Baby, and Luvs.
DD leaked through the Pampers & the Especially for Baby brands, and the Huggies worked amazingly (I still use the Overnights on her) then I was introduced to Luvs, and they work just as well as Huggies, but not as expensive.

I agree. We bought some Pampers Newborns but within a week and a half they were getting tight around her thighs. I had also bough Pampers size 1-2 and they are huge. Don't go too crazy with buying a lot, wait till baby arrives.
P.S. I love the Pampers Swaddlers......they have worked great for me so far.

Re: Baby Registry MUST HAVES!!
ok, here's my list of prized items... this is what we've been using every moment of the day for the last month.
it's much more minimalistic than you would expect.... but a newborn doesn't need much
boppy at least 12 receiving blankets at least a dozen bottles ameda pump (+ BPA free kit)
at least 8 fitted sheets at least 6 changing table covers
angelcare bebesounds motion monitor
tub bathrobe washcloths
and then tons and tons of clothing! If you register for any clothes, the ones I like best are the infant gowns with fold-over sleeve-cuffs (easy to change the baby, and he doesn't scratch his face) also lots of socks and a few pairs of mittens for outfits w/o foldover cuffs...
for disposables... we're an organic family... we love 7th generation diapers, tushies wipes, vaseline, and for diaperrash incidents... burt's bees diaper ointment. (7th gen diapers minimize diaper rash since it has no plastics and is more breathable than other brands). For bath time, burt's bees bath wash and shampoo and to moiturize, burt's apricot oil. so far, no cradle cap formula (I mainly BF, but also supplement)= earth's best w/ DHA
HTH!

Re: Baby Registry MUST HAVES!!
I would get these as I've heard they're must haves from moms I know...
- boppy pillow - ultimate crib sheet - miracle blanket - happiest baby on the block dvd/book - changing wallet (for quick trips outside or to convert any bag to diaper bag) - baby monitor (esp. if you live in a house) - baby carrier - bouncer or swing - car seat - bibs and burp clothes - a few blankets for swaddling - nightgowns with mittencuffs - stroller
Some things are must haves depending on your lifestyle.

Re: Baby Registry MUST HAVES!!
FP Rainforest Booster Seat.... OMG I love it! and so does DD.... it's a GODSEND b/c I take her out, and the toys are attached to the tray so she can't throw things around like she normally does - I swear I'm going to have to enroll her in softball camp by the time she has her 1st birthday!!!!!!

Re: Baby Registry MUST HAVES!!
Stroller - Full size if you want/snap n go and lightweight (technically you can forgo this big stroller and just register for a snap n go and lightweight) I love strollers...so my suggestion if you want is for one do it all stroller Pliko P3 or a snap n go and a Mac Quest. If you want a reversible feature stroller that is light and easy to fold Bugaboo Bee. You can also purchase the car seat adaptor so it can be your only stroller.
Car Seat Infant and Toddler
Playpen (Love my Graco Playpen)
Swing (Graco Loving Hug was a lifesaver)
Bouncer (Lifesaver)
2 or 3 variety of bottles...you don't know which ones will work best (I love the Playtex drop ins and the Born Free both BPA free) Also don't forget to register for the different stage nipples (1, 2, 3 slow medium fast LOL)
Bibs lots of them (they have the packages those are great)
Wipes
Diapers (don't open all the boxes though until you try them...DD is terribly allergic to Pampers...Huggies and Luvs work best for her)
Bundle me...must have for winter
Baby bathtub sling and towels
Lots of onesies and PJs...although people usually buy these anyway.
Baby detergent (I use Method baby...love it)
Bottle warmer (Life saver)
Spoons/Sippy Cups/Bowls...before you know it you will need them.
Pacifiers if you plan on giving one
Diaper bag. One small and one large.
High chair for me is a must (FP Rainforest rocks)
Bottle sterlizer (I still use mine)
Expandable drying rack (love it)
Baby jar food rack
Lots of crib sheets (I also use them in the Pack n Play)
Angel care monitor (Must Have)
Video monitor (Love mine)
Receiving blankets
