Please help, i am throwing a baby shower for my friend/coworker and only her husband is helping. I am having about 35 people and looking to only spend about 20 dollars each. I looked into bella napoli but unfortunately they are booked solid for february. any other suggestions preferably in nassau? any info would help, i'm going crazy!

I just went to Lady Anne's Vintage tea room in Levittown. It was gorgeous and they do showers.

did you try Verdi's or Tesoro? im sure both will work with you on price based on the time of year and if you're flexible with the time.

have you looked into Chinese restaurants for the shower? they tend to be very reasonably priced.
The Orchid in Garden City is very good

I love love love this place! I think it would be perfect for a smaller shower!

I had a party last year at Wickers in Hicksville, I think it was about 20 a person and this was for an evening party. The staff was great and the food was better.

Check out Piccolo in Bellmore. I don't know how much they charge but my friends' just had their 1-year-old's birthday party there. There was a baby shower in the room next door. It's also across from the train station if you have people coming from the city or who don't really drive.
The food is good. I've been there several times for dinner.
Here's the website:

Try Davenport Press in Mineola. My SIL had her bridal shower there and it was great. I think there packages are around $25 p.p. but you may be able to work something out.
ETA: They have a luncheon menu for private parties for $17 p.p. but I dont know if that is for weekends as well. Check out their website: Davenport Press
