Baby Shower Thank You's etiquette

If you received a gift after your shower and the card was signed from an entire family, would you send the thank you to the entire family? Or just the person who was invited?

TIA!

I would send it to the person invited but written out to thank the whole family.

I would say "Dear ________ and Family" also and send it to her home.

I'd definitely send a thank you to each family member, to each of their individual addresses if they live apart from one another.

I write the thank you to whomever signed the card. If they live in different places, I send them each a thank you.

Think of it this way........ I received some presents from friends that live OOT and weren't invited to the shower. I couldn't imagine NOT giving them a thank you!

Re: Baby Shower Thank You's etiquette

For me it depended on who it was..... for instance my aunt and cousin live together and bought a gift together, so I sent one Thank you to both...

However, a few of my mi-l's friends chipped in and I sent them individual thank yous....
