Baby Showers
I am helping a friend plan her sister in laws baby shower. What were some of the special touches that people have done for you/you have done for others?
Thanks in advance

Re: Baby Showers
1. We did the dirty diaper game at my s-i-l's, which was gross, but definately the hit of the shower! We melted all different kinds of chocolate into diapers, and then the guests had to smell them and examine them to figure out what kind of candy bar it was! Prizes were given to the 3 people who got the most right!
2. Clothesline decoration - pretty self explanatory- basically a clothsline with all cute things attached to it, and it can be used as a decoration
3. Instead of a typical wishing well, my mom did a bookcase wishing well for me. She bought a bookcase, painted it to match the nursery, and everyone brought a book and used it as their card! REALLY cute and Genevieve now loves books, so its coming in handy!
I'll try to think of more ideas!

Re: Baby Showers
for mine last week, we did the bookcase instead of a wishing well. inside the invite was a little card that read: We all know how much Laura likes to read. She hopes the baby will follow her lead. So lets start a library with all the bookds the new baby will need. Please bringa favorite story or fairtale that you would like baby ___ to have in her collection.
but the hit of the party was the onesies. We bougth a ton of onesies and fabric markers and then the guests got to decorate teh onesies. It keeps people occupied and you end up with some really cute ones.

Re: Baby Showers
At my shower they did: The "Baby word Game"...Everyone wore a ribbon and when someone mentioned the word BABY and got caught, they had to give the ribbon up to the person that caught them. It was a huge hit. Person with the most ribbons at the end of the shower, won a prize. Also: Unscramble the baby words and guess how many candies in the baby bottle.
