baby sleepsacks?
which ones are good to get? i'm due in Oct. and think the cotton may be too light but isn't it dangerous to put the baby in fleece because its not fire resistant? which brand do i get?

Re: baby sleepsacks?
I registered for one cotton and one fleece...as far as it being fire resistant, I don't think any fabric is...

I registered for 1 small fleece, 1 medium cotton, and 1 0-6 months terrycloth
eta...now that I think about it, I should also get a small cotton since I'll be delivering in sept?!

Yup, I got the cotton one in small (since my baby will be the end of Sept. baby) and one medium...I want to see how he likes them...the same with the swaddling blankets...my kid is a riot already...I doubt he'd like to be swaddled.

Re: baby sleepsacks?
I have the cotton ones only because you can always put more layers on baby underneath it. You can't do anything with fleece to adjust for temp. Overheating a baby is a big SIDS risk.

Re: baby sleepsacks?
I got the Halo sleepsack but I think mine is cotton in small. I guess I should get one a little bigger too. I'll see first if the baby likes it.

Re: baby sleepsacks?
The small is for 0-6 months in Halo Sleep Sacks. Def see if baby likes it first before grabbing more, at 20 bucks each it will be a waste if baby doesn't like it.
Gianna didn't like to be swaddled as a newborn and hated being contained in a sack after 6 months old.
