Baby Sling Reco's
I'm exhausted from rocking Alex all day to ease her gas pains... I'm thinking of getting a sling - any recommendations?

Re: Baby Sling Reco's
Idon't have a sling but I have the bjorn carrier. My aunt bought it for me and I could never imagine wearing. One day I got desperate my son was crying (he has alot of gas), after a couple of minutes of walking he stopped. I stopped to talk to a neighbor and he started crying again. So i walked and he feel asleep. It always works, too bad I can't use it at night when he screams from the gas pain.

We're breaking out the Bjorn tonight. All my friends love it. My neighbor had a sling and she said she preferred the Bjorn over the sling.

Re: Baby Sling Reco's
I was thinking today that I really need to get a carrier. We tried them all on in the store when I was preggo and we liked the Eddie Bauer one the best, but we didn't get it from our registry. Today Emily has been so fussy and I think it's because she hasn't pooped since yesterday morning and she's farting a lot -- I had the same thing where she just didn't want to be put down and has been crying/fussing a lot today.

I have the bjorn and love it but also have the maya wrap. great for BFing in public if you are Bfing) and great for babies that like to be carried upright on shoulder.

Baby Bjorns HURT your neck and shoulders when baby gets heavier. I recommend a wrap like an ellaroo or maya wrap which puts the weight of the baby on your shoulders and not at the base of your neck like the BBjorn.

Yup, I put away the bjorn just because of that.... ouch! Now I use and over the shoulder baby holder to hold her on my hip.
