Baby still has gag reflex????
My son just turned 7 months old on 9/19/06 and the other night I mushed mushed mushed banana. Well, no soon did he get the tiny piece in his mouth that he not only gaged but he choked-couldn't breathe and then vomited. I was at my end. He doesn't have teeth yet but this was super mushed. The same thing happened when I fed him baby food peas on Sunday. What the heck??? What do I do???

Joseph had major gag issues. I think it was because I waited too long to introduce him to foods (8 months). He'll get the hang of it soon!

Have you tried foods that he is able to feed himself with like cheerios and puffs?

No way....I only tried the banana and I let him get it in that little kisser. I am super scared to try again.
