Baby supplies to donate...Huricane Sandy relief
I have lots of baby stuff I'd love to donate to the hurricane relief effort...bibs, burp cloths, receiving blankets, undershirts, socks, spoons, bottles, etc. But they are used. Would anybody be interested in them? They are all from a smoke-free pet-free home and have all been washed. I just feel like it could all go somewhere useful, but would people be willing to use them?

I don't know where you are located but there is a woman in Amity Harbor who lived in a basement apartment and is nine months pregnant. Her apartment flooded and she lost all the things that were bought for the baby. She is having a girl.

I live in Centereach. I'll give the stuff to her if she wants it. Do you know if she wants gently used stuff?
Anybody know of anybody else who might want?
ETA: or know of any donation centers for stuff that is not NWT?

I know that Long Beach is looking for stuff. If you go City of Long Beach page on facebook they give you a list of what they need and where you can send it.

I bought some gently used items to St. Jude's Church in Mastic Beach. My bouncer and RNP didn't even make it inside before being taken. There were plenty of people there picking items up so I would say no doubt they would be appreciated there.
