Baby Trend Snap-N-Go question...
I just randomly came across this description under the Baby Trend Snap-N-Go when I was doing a search:
FITS MOST MAJOR BRANDS of infant car seats. One hand fold. Car seats that are not reccomended and do not fit any Babytrend. Snap-N-Go are listed below. Graco Step1/Safeseat. Chicco/Key Fit. Combi Centre. EX/DX. Peg Perego SIP 06' model. .
Does this mean the Chicco KeyFit 30 that I registered for won't fit in this snap n go?

I am pretty sure that it does/will
ETA: I found this review:
Well I haven't actually used this stroller yet. But was so excited after I opened it that a tag on the stroller included the Chicco Key Fit car seats on the compatible list. Baby Trend website says it won't work. The only thing that I noticed was since my Chicco Key Fit 30 sits low on the "snap" bar it is easier to stow and retrieve things in the basket from the front of the stroller. I would gladly put up with that then have to lug a heavy stroller around. I would give is stroller a 4.5 star if I could.

Thanks Lindsey, now i'm confused.
I'm wondering if I should get the city mini car seat attachment instead now.

Is it possible to head over to the store and try it out first hand? I know you said you lived far from BBB, how about BRU?
My stepsister registered for the Chicco 30 and this Snap-N-Go (In fact I got her the Snap-N-Go). I can see if she opened them up yet when I talk to her tonight!

I tried it in the store and it didn't seem to snap in. I just went with a graco car seat instead because of this. If you read reviews on the BRU website, some say it fits and others say it doesn't. I would go to the store and check for yourself. I love my snap and Go!

I have the Chicco carrier and it fits perfectly into the Snap-N-Go. You can try it out yourself at the store but I use my snap-n-go all the time and no problems!

Thanks!
I can go to BRU and try it out, then decide what to do from there (either stick w/ the snap n go if it fits or go with the car seat adapter on the city mini).

Re: Baby Trend Snap-N-Go question...
I would get the seat attachment for your Citi Mini- Just as easy to use as a snap and go.

Thanks, now I have to do some research and see if the chicco keyfit 30 fits into the attachment for the city mini.

Re: Baby Trend Snap-N-Go question...
Here's my finds... just researched and finalized decisions last week so this is all a very fresh subject for me! I've also registered for the Chicco Keyfit 30. I'm just not digging the travel systems.
So when I was at BRU with my one sis, her take was that most car seats will fit in most strollers, kind of like the travel system. The stroller I've registered for is the Peg Perego Pliko P3. Some strollers do have adapters available for certain car seats. The Perego does not for the Chicco. Okay, so the Chicco does fit snuggly in it. It does not click in. But my sister convinced me that, where am I going with an infant in the stroller that it should be a concern. I mean, we had the carseat in the stroller, and I was rocking the thing completely side to side and the car seat did not budge. So yeah, was I planning on mountain climbing with the stroller and car seat, no. So I took the snap n go off the registry. On top of that, she was like what are you going to do, pack both strollers in the car wherever you go? I thought this made sense. What do I know, I'm new at this!
Okay, dinner at my mom's on Palm Sunday, tell my other sis of this choice... she flips out! Murphy's Law, if it could happen, it could happen! And you're not going to put an infant in the stroller even though the straps say they could and blah blah. And yes, she's not the only one who swears by the snap n go. This makes a lot of sense too. So what's a girl to do?
I go to BRU by myself, to really look into this. And what do I find... the Chicco does not "click" into the Baby Trend Snap n Go (nor the Graco stroller frame) because the Chicco has side clips and not a rear clip. And there is no stroller frame on the market with side clips... yet. However the Snap n Go has a strap on either side. The car seat fits in snuggly and you use the straps to secure the seat in. Buckles around/across the top center of the car seat like a seat belt.
Okay, now I think back to my first sister's point... so if all that is "securing" the car seat to the snap n go is a strap, then why can I not add straps to the perego and do the same thing? They are just simple removable straps that you can probably buy anywhere, even order them as accessory parts from Baby Trend. Then I'm back to the one stroller in the trunk deal.
What did I end up doing? I'm registered for the Chicco Keyfit 30 (because I do like it best). I'm registered for the Peg Perego Pliko P3 (because I do like it best). And I'm registered for the Baby Trend Snap n Go. Because it just makes sense to have the light weight option in the first few months before I'll really put the baby in the stroller. And those few months will save that much wear and tear on the Perego from putting the car seat in and out of it. I have the trunk space so why not?
And there it is! Hope my experience helps in some way!

Re: Baby Trend Snap-N-Go question...
I TRIED IT AND IT WORKS - NO IT DOESNT SNAP IN PLACE BUT IT DOES FIT SECURELY AND IT DOES HAVE A STRAP FOR ADDED SECURITY - SO I GOT THE CHICCO KEYFIT AND THE BABY TREND SNAP AND GO...
GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR DECISION...

ITA! I was going back and forth between Chicco Keyfit and the Gracco Snugride. I Loved the Stroller and carseat better that Chicco has, but loved the idea of the snap and go. WHen I heard that Chicco fits in Baby Trends I went to BRU to test it out and it worked great. BTW... BBB also said they're going to be getting the Baby Trends in soon too.
Another reason I like the Chicco better is b/c they say it's safer with the side impact. In case the car gets hit on the sides it's more cushion. At least that's what the salesguy said. I feel safer with something bulky too

Re: Baby Trend Snap-N-Go question...
at BBB, they told me the keyfit will not snap into any stroller frame. It can sit atop of it, but this makes me nervous. We opted to register for the snugride instead.

Re: Baby Trend Snap-N-Go question...
I use it with my Chicco and yes it doesn't lock into place but I have tried off roading (without Alexa in it) and it doesn't fall out. Plus there is a strap that goes around the carseat. It works perfectly fine

I'm going to go to BRU to try it out for myself but I think we're going to do something similar... the chicco keyfit 30, city mini stroller and baby trend snap n go.
