baby wearing
So I have recently started using my Bjorn carrier A LOT and Luca absolutely loves it. He pretty much never cries when he's in it. I have read all of the benefits of baby wearing, but I can't find anything on the negetives- which I am quickly learning exist. The problem I'm running into is that he doesn't want to be put down. I can not and will not carry him around 24 hours a day. And I can't expect other people to carry him around all the time when I'm at work. I used to be able to put him in his swing or bouncy seat and now he wants no part of it. The kid is almost 15 pounds so he gets pretty heavy after a while and I don't have a great back to begin with. Has anyone had any similar experiences? What did you do?

Re: baby wearing
I am getting an Ellaroo sling with my next baby...wearing that baby from day 1!! I had to hold Noah every minute of every day until he could crawl...so next one, bunging them into a sling as a newborn!!!
I would try something like an Ellaroo sling, or a Ring Sling....try babywearing.com...what kind of negatives could there be??????? Babies are designed to be held!!! Good for you for realising that Luca loves it!!

Re: baby wearing
I did use the bjorn alot too but I would be careful about using it for too long as I read somewhere that it causes pressure on the baby's spine.
