Baby Wearing

As a BTDT mom with a very clingy baby, I wanted you girls to have a read of this. I wish I had known about baby wearing when Noah was a newborn, it would have saved me and I think Noah would have really enjoyed it.

Great article! Thanks for sharing. I've seen some of those slings in my magazines and on Celebrity Baby Blog- I think I am going to get one (though from one I've seen, you could almost get one to match every outfit you own. Chat Icon Chat Icon )

Re: Baby Wearing

Thanks for sharing this info! I registered for the Baby Bjourn and I was going to take it off my registry to get this instead and someone purchased it for me already.....I will still get the sling but I am debating if I should return the Baby Bjourn when I receive it - and advice?

Re: Baby Wearing

I had a Baby Bjorn and never used it. I think those are good for carrying a baby around, but for baby wearing, these specialist slings are much better. My friends had Wilkinets and they loved them! I wish I had had one when my little fusspot was a wee bairn!!

Re: Baby Wearing

I HAVE A FEELING I WON'T BE USING THE BABY BJOURN EITHER - THE ONLY REASON WHY I REGISTERED FOR IT IS BECAUSE AFTER THE BABY IS BORN WE ARE GOING TO EUROPE FOR A FEW WEEKS AND THOUGHT THAT IS THE BEST WAY TO CARRY THE BABY AROUND BUT WITH THE SLING IT MAY MAY EASIER AND MORE COMFORTABLE....THANKS AGAIN FOR THE ARTICLE!

Re: Baby Wearing

I just wanted to add that my friend (whose baby has just turned 1) turned up at our meeting this afternoon wearing her one year old on her back in a sling. I think they are great!!!
