babyl shower food ideas
Hello, was wondering what kind of food ideas you may have about a baby shower this month. having it in my house, not alot of room inside if it rains, and if the weather is hot and humid it will be awful...
i was figuring an appetizer platter, and wrap platter, with a caesar salad...any pros/cons to this menu?
thanks...caterers in nassau county near garden city?

Deli heros are always a winner. Minimal setup, minimal cleanup

I too think deli sandwiches and salads are the way to go. Less messy and good for any kind of weather !

I am sure they are probably really good.....I once had a birthday cake from Waldbaums that was awesome. I wouldnt count out the supermarkets.

I can't remember the name of the place for the life of me but there is a great sandwich place on Nassau Blvd in Garden City South. I'll ask my mother the name....

No caesar salad for the pregnany lady as the dressing is usually made with raw egg.

Re: babyl shower food ideas
ITA with the sandwich idea, I did the same thing for a shower I had at my house...plus a pasta salad and/or a regular salad. That way you don't even have to think about cooking. I also did a veggie/spinach dip platter...and you could do maybe a shrimp cocktail or something else cold.
