Babyliss or Rusk?

My super solano broke yesterday and I am devastated. I need a new hair dryer ASAP! I'm looking here and these two brands seem to be the most popular. My hair is curly, but I blow it dry straight 3 to 4 times a week. I love a HOT dryer. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks ladies!

Re: Babyliss or Rusk?

I love my Babyliss. I have no experience with Rusk, but the reviews I've seen are always good.

I bought the Rusk in October and love it! (I went from an 1875 watt dryer to the 2000 watt Rusk and what a difference in how hot it is and how fast it dries my hair!) Plus I love how soft and shiny it makes my hair feel!

Rusk Speed Freak. Love it! I blow dry 3-4 times a week as well and my hair is curly with very strong waves that are tough to straighten. Comes out smooth and shiny every time.

Re: Babyliss or Rusk?

Dh bought me the rusk speed freak for Christmas & I love it! I have fairly long hair & it now takes me 10 mins to dry my hair. With my old dryer it would take about 20 mins.

same I love this dryer! Dries my hair in 1/2 the time of my old dryer and it's not that noisy which I love!

Babyliss or Rusk?

thanks for this post. I am looking for a new blow dryer. Mine right now is older and it takes forever to dry my hair. I have curly hair and blow dry it straight. How much is the rusk speed freak? where is the best place to get it? Thanks.

Re: Babyliss or Rusk?

I have the Rusk W8Less dryer and I hate it. A SA at Ulta convinced me to purchase the Rusk over the T3. I should have returned it and exchanged it for the T3.

I also have an Elchim somewhere in the house, but I wasn't impressed so I kept it as a backup.

I just ordered (with a lot of deliberation) the Harry Josh dryer. I'm keeping my fingers crossed this thing lives up to the great reviews! Chat Icon
