Babylon Village

Tell me about Babylon Village

I know Babylon village starts (by me) on Montauk and after you pass McDonalds it becomes Babylon Village. Which is nice right? But I got lost and went down Deer Park Avenue to the what is probably old babylon village and I am absolutely floored by the area. Looks like $$ and there seems to be a Babylon Village by the water part that I very interested in actually. Can anyone tell me about the area? Especially if there is a on-the-water part?

McDonalds on Montauk by Kmart? That is the border of Lindenhurst-West Babylon. Babylon village starts further east.

All of babylon is very nice and they have good schools.

Babylon village starts after the Pathmark shopping center on Montauk Highway and goes to Rt. 231. It goes from the water to a little south of Sunrise Hwy. Part of the village south of Montauk (Little East Neck Road area and west) and most of the area west of Rt. 109 is West Babylon schools. Some of the northern part of the village off Deer Park Ave is North Babylon schools. There are some affordable homes near the water (usually with the WB schools). In general, the village is expensive. I love the village though - so nice to walk around. The majority of it is very nice.
