Re: Bachelor Partys

i have no problem with it....
But i do not like the all nighters...unless it is because of excessive drinking...

My take is...
I have no problem with him going, no problem with strippers, no problem with drinking...
BUT...he better not drive home drunk and I'm not a big fan of the "staying out all night". I see no reason that a married man has to be out past 3 or 4 am.

Perfect! I totally agree with that!

YEP!! Exactly!!

i agree with that as well. My fellow bartenders and I always say, anyone out past 2am is looking for trouble!!Chat Icon

If DH is drinking I would rather him sleep over a friends house to know he is safe

Re: Bachelor Partys

I think I might be in the latter here...but here i go:

I've NEVER been to a strip club, neither has FH...He doesn't have much interest in them bc he knows i'll perform a dance for him Chat Icon
I just think they are very seedy-i just feel like why would u have to go see girls dance, instead of asking me to? I dunno....
The girls IMO are skanky---I don't think FH is going to a strip club for his bachelor party-he's just not into that-and I hope he doesn't!! The thought of a girl dancing all over him and touching him grosses me out IMO...and also pisses me off. LOL. As far as the private parties go....absolutely not.
Now the MALE strip clubs i've heard are really bad, what they do to you...yikes!!

But if he DID want to go, lets say a Bachelor Party that was having strippers, would you be ok with him going or would you not ALLOW him to go... that sis the main issue everyone is talking about. a lot of girls dont like the idea but wont stop their husbands from going...

Re: Bachelor Partys

My DW gave me three simple rules for my bachelor party weekend in Vegas:

1. Don't f--- anybody
2. Don't drink and drive
3. Don't gamble the co-op away

Thats IT! Anything else would have been fair game. But frankly I didnt even do anything. We went clubbing all weekend. I didn't even see a single pair of tits the whole weekend in Vegas if you can believe that. Chat Icon And I had a GREAT time.

We ended up going to a strip bar back in NYC the week after I returned... which was cool because one of my groomsmen couldn't go to Vegas because of an overbearing f--king wife! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon He was able to at least go to the strip club in NYC for the night.

Any woman who wouldn't allow her husband to go to a bachelor party or go away with a bunch of guys for a couple of days for a bachelor party has SERIOUS INSECURITY ISSUES. End of story... case closed.

Its ok to "not like it". But its NOT ok to force your DH to not go if it means a lot to him and he wants to go.

I voted absolutely not because of the way the question was phrased...Do you have an issue with BP? my answer is NO. So that may be why there are so many absolutely nots.

It wouldn't bother me if DH went to a BP with strippers -- I trust him 100000000%

He can go - I have no problems with it.

I also know that my DH hates going to bachelor parties with strippers (I think he is the minority! Chat Icon )

Well my DH also gets NOTHING out of strippers or that sort of thing, so I guess both our hubbies are in the minority Chat Icon

That said - am I THRILLED when I hear that my DH might be at a party with strippers? well NO, not particuarly. But do I care/would I prevent him from going? Again- NO

What I DON"T agree with (and many of you may disagree with my feelings) is the "private parties' in hotel rooms and such, where strippers are hired as entertainment Chat Icon I dont mind strip clubs because there are some rules and limitations to what goes on, but the private stripper thingy is BAD NEWS (IMO) I've heard TOO many stories and its just not something I'd really like my husband to be a part of, IF I had the choice (which I don't , since he can choose what he wants to do)

AND NO it has nothing to do with trust, I trust my DH completely .. its just sleazy is all Chat Icon

I couldnt agree more with everything you said!!

DH is not into strippers AT all... he'd rather go have a few beer with the guys and discuss sports and cars...

I would NEVER tell him he couldnt go...but Im happy he has never wanted too...

As far as the private parties... I think there just gross... you wanna go to a strip club...and watch from a distance...go right ahead... but there is no need to be in a hotel room with these chicks...

I dont have any problem with Don going to bachelor parties where there is a stipper. Trust is something I dont have to worry about in our relationship. He always asks me if he's allowed to get a lap dance and I always tell him "you've had more t i ts in your face the night of your bachelor party, you dont need any more"

I go with DH, and I have also *sent* him for his B-day. I will give his brother or his best friend a few $$ to have a good time. When we go together we even get lap dances. Really I don't find it to be a big deal. It is not an intimate experience, it is just for some fun. Not meant to offend anyone who is opposed to it, it is just the way we handle things.

This isn't meant to be against you personally so please don't take it this way but why does anyone tell have to tell their DH/DW #1? Aren't we already in a committed relationship?
I could not imagine doing anything with another person besides my DH (kiss/sex, etc)

Yes but she claims it is different she getting one with a male stripper rather than a female stripper at a bachelor party that her DH will attendChat Icon
