Back from my 1st meeting w/ RE

First off, I was nervous/apprehensive about this, and thanks to all of you who sent the good luck vibes my way; also to those who had good things to say about Dr. Goldschlag.

Let me start by saying I'm very impressed w/ Dr. Goldschlag. I feel like I've been in limbo for months, and we finally have a plan.

I got AF on Friday, so I missed CD3 testing by one day. I thought that would delay everything by a month, but it doesn't look that way! He did a ton of bloodwork on me (and some on DH), a sonogram, where he showed me 9 eggs in 1 ovary and 11 in the other - I was thrilled w/ that because I was convinced for some reason there wouldn't be any (I don't know why). He scheduled an HSG for me on Wednesday, and I go in next Monday for another sono to see when I'll ovulate. If I DO get AF next month, I'll just go in for CD3 testing then.

They're going to do a SA for DH at the same time as they do the (unmedicated) IUI for me - which means it could be as soon as next Friday!!! I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, but I'd be just thrilled if this works.

Thats great. Dr. Goldschlag is also my doc and I love how aggressive he is and how he really trys everything right away to get you your BFP
