Back from our "Romantic" child free vacation..
O.K.- So last week I posted about being nervous because we were leaving Ava with my parents for 3 days so that we could have our 1st real vacation alone in 3 years...(Cancun)
Well...update...Ava was fine and had a ball with her Nana and Pop. They even taught her to sing "La cook-a-racha" (sp??) when you say Mexico..
But us...forget it... I had af and felt like a beached whale. All I could thibk about was how much better I looked the last time I was in Cancun... Pre-baby- no strech marks/cellulite
And poor Dh...He was feeling kind of tired before we left- as soon as we got there he got into bed and never got out..The hotel had to call in a Dr. He had 102 degree fever, started coughing and was having a hard time breathing...He is NEVER sick...The Doctor came and he had bronchitis,double ear infection and sore throat. He gave him a shot of antibiotic and a steriod. Then he had 3 prescriptions sent. It cost about $200.
When the medicine came, I thiought things would be fine- I was in pharmaceuticals before Ava was born, so I thought I could figure out how to dose all his meds----well---all the directions were in SPANISH!!!!!!
We figured out the dosing and he still coughed all night...Then when we woke up to go home on Sunday morning- my diahreah (sp) started....
OHHHH well....not very romantic.
I am never leaving my house again
