I'm frustrated because Robbie doesn't get his supplies list until he's assigned a 'team' for middle school and I hate having to make 2 or 3 trips out to get 'the rest' of the stuff. *sigh*

Our supply list was posted on the school website & when we went to Target/Walmart the bins of supplies are nearly empty & they're constantly refilling. They had some good buys:

24 crayons for .50
Marble notebooks: $1.
dry erase markers $2.25 (maybe)
Elmers glue 4 oz. .50
glue sticks (5 small) $1.00 (I believe)

These High Sierra backpacks are great for older kids (even younger too I suppose, but not as cute lol).

They hold a bunch and are so durable. I prefer this model, the "loop". We bought the laptop version last year and returned it, as it was a bit heavier. My son has had his for like 3 years and it's taken a beating, but has held up great! We could get another year out of it or more, but we are switching to a new color. I usually find them at Marshall's, but I didn't see any this year yet. If you have a Kohls charge, you can get this one for $21 with the July 30% off coupon code.

Went to children's place outlet and got this back pack and matching lunch bag on sale and then 20% off on top of that:



They are having 25% off entire purchases online starting this weekend I think.

I love this time of year...it is second only to Christmastime! Its a good thing I had a lot of Gymbucks from buying summer clothes, plus I returned some of the summer stuff that they never wore for even more money in the budget! Still more to go, but they also have some stuff that they didn't wear at the end of the year last school year since it didn't get warm til the last 2 weeks of school!
