Backflow devise for sprinkler system
My town is requiring me to get a backflow - double check valve devise for my sprinkler system. Anyone know anything about this and/or who to use?

Are you having a new system installed?? (I'm pretty sure every town requires them now for new systems.) I would imagine your irrigation company would install the check valve for you.
We already had an existing sprinkler system when we purchased the house, so my DH installed them. He also installed ball check valves on all our spickets.

No I bought the house with the sprinkler system already installed. I got a letter from the town saying I need to get this done by June. I guess the previous owners didn't have one installed.

Do you have an irrigation company that services (opens it the spring, closes it for winter) your system?

I used a guy that was on the list from the water company. he was very good. Where do u live? I am in Bellmore, I am not sure what towns he goes to, FM mail me if u want the #. he has been doing ours for a few years now. HTH
