Background checks
My DH has been interviewing for a Supervisor position in his office and this morning they asked him to fill out a background check form. He had to fill one out when he first started about a year ago. He works at a University, but their jobs are all state jobs. I didn't know if they would have everyone who applied fill one out or not. I know they're not cheap so I didn't know if they would spend the money. Thanks!

I don't think they cost much. maybe a few 100 bucks, if that. I guess it depends on the level of the background check and what agency they use.
it does seem a little strange that they would run a check again 1 yr after they did one.

It may just be a criminal baclground check, which I've had to fill out a form for moving within an organization.
They are pretty cheap. I had to get one myself so I could volunteer here in PA and it cost 10 bucks.
Its probably a policy thing.

We background check all of our employees and we verify their education as well.
