Re: Backpack toddler carrier?

I have this carrier and it is awesome! Jack is almost two and there is no way he would allow me to put him on my back anymore but when I did use it I loved it. I especially liked using it in the airport when I would travel w/o DH. Totally hands free, comfortable and wish I had bought it sooner. When baby #2 is born in a few weeks, I think I will be using this one instead of my bjorn.

Re: Backpack toddler carrier?

The easiest thing to do is strap the carrier around your waist, lay it on the couch, manage to get your toddler to sit on it and then lift the straps over your arms. Jack is pretty skinny...only about 25 pounds now at age two, so I would strap it around my waist, pick him up, lean over a bit, slide him on my back, put the straps over my arms and he would be in there.

Re: Backpack toddler carrier?

so it sounds worth getting. How often did/do you use it? Is your child happy in it for a decent amount of time?
TIA

I don't have it but I can tell you that is SUPER popular here in CO. Especially with all the earthy moms who wear their babies all the time. Miranda didn't care for carriers or slings so no need for a back carreir for us.
