I e-mailed them this morning and got no response, so I just called the spa and got connected with "customer service" and left a message. Hopefully they'll call me back. I am going to copy my e-mail into word and send them a letter as well.
Thanks for all of your hugs and helpful FMs. I got so many great suggestions for my skin issues. You girls are the best!!

OMG...was this at Cavale? Was it with Irina?
I go to her ALL the time - for waxing, facials and have had three back facials with her.
I've never had a problem...and the facials are a bit painful sometimes...but I'm used to them now.
She's thorough and the extractions are standard practice to clean everything out....but maybe my tolerance is higher?
In terms of the HIV remark - that's completely unprofessional, and disturbing....definitely worth the complaint alone.

I would say samething...this woman was out of line in so many aspects...I would do it not so much as wanting to get reimbursed but to make a point that she was unprofessional, physically caused pain/discomfort (she should have been checking in with you), and was offensive. Sorry you were treated this way .

I would definitely send them a letter along with a copy of the email they ignored. Send the letter certified with a return receipt so you know it was received.
Good Luck and I'm sorry they treated you that way.

To be honest...I can "guess" that they won't do anything...it's sad, but it's true.
