bad cheese
Yesterday I ate a soft cheese called Camambert. After I ate a slice of it, I looked it up. Its a cheese to avoid. What should I do?

Re: bad cheese
I'm sure you'll be fine. Cheese made in the US is pasturized. I ate feta while pregnant and my daughter is just fine.

Re: bad cheese
It's not that anythign bad will happen to the baby, it's just that there is a higher chance of you getting listeria from it if it's unpasteurized. If you are feeling fine now, you are ok. You have as much of a chance getting sick from all the cheeses now as you do when you're not preggo. What do pregnant women in France eat? I'm sure camambert! And all those women in Greece? I'm sure they eat Feta a lot! Just check labels to make sure they're made with pasteurized milk. I love Greek food, so I just asked if the cheese was pasteurized, they checked, and it was, so I'm not too worried.
