Bad News about the Shuttle Takeoff
Hope they can figure this out. This is the same type of thing that caused the last one to explode comming into earths atmosphere

i just read this and i hope to god they come home safe! my prayers are with them and there families. 
i love the space program and would do anything to fly in space. i think it is one of the neatest things.

You know what I think is sad. Do they really need to send people up there? Is it that important? Cuz, I would think that lost lives are a little more important than having actual people go into space. I would think that they have enough mechanical stuff up there to do what needs to be done without putting lives at risk. I know these astronauts train and live their whole lives to do this, but NASA's record isn't so hot right now, and I would think it might not be so urgent to get people up there. JMO
ETA: I am praying for their safe return...I really hope that it turns out to be nothing serious.

IMO we never should have had another "shuttle" take off and should have just spent the past 2 years looking into a new method of space craft.
I do believe that we need a space program and I think what what these people do is awesome and heroic just like all other USAF pilots.
