Bagels?

How many points is a REAL bagel???

Plain?
Egg?
poppy?
Everything?

Yesterday for fathers day, we got bagels- I only ate half since I was unsure of the points, but Id love to know for future reference...

I looked in my books and saw anything from 5-8pts...nothing exact though...

i think it all depends on how big the bagel is. i think the "average" sized bagel that is 5 WW points is about the size of a CD. although i feel like "real-life" bagels tend to be much larger.

in the end, a few points margin of error shouldn't matter... i would give yourself 5 points or so for the half-bagel.

A real NY bagel is about 8 points. Add cream cheese and it's more. If you take the stuffing out, I count it as 4 points for the whole bagel. I tend to eat Whole Wheat Everything bagels with low fat cream cheese. I put the cream chesse on so thin you can barely see it!
