Whew- I just had a mild heart palpatation because I had some clams and shrimp in early pregnancy.

I was told to stay away from all shell fish, even cooked. I think every doctor is different. I am allergic to shellfish (although, I never had an attack), so I really must stay away, as much as I love it

That's what I thought too. I've had maybe 4 or 5 baked clams during my pregnancy.
