brownies from the box
cupcakes from the box

I am going on vacation tomorrow...so I was going to bake tonight...DH is going on a camping trip Monday and I was making it so he could take it along.

no, that's not going to keep that long. maybe if you freeze the brownies and then he takes them out when he leaves for the trip, but defintely not cupcakes.

Janice, I think you stand a better chance in having the cupcakes lasting longer than the brownies.

Just make sure to keep them at room temp and put them into an airtight container and make sure to line the container with aluminum. That always makes them last longer.

When I bake cookies I put them in a ziplock or tupperware with a piece of bread and they stay soft for up to 2 weeks (not refrigerated).

I've never tried it with cupcakes or brownies, but it may work.
