Bakery (cool cakes) in Suffolk

Im starting to get things together for Ryans 1st b-day.... and I want a really cool cake- but I dont wanna spend an insane amount of money.....

Ryan will be getting his own little cake (which Ill probably make myself...

But for the guests Im gonna order a sheet cake- I LOVE create a cake (yummy) but feel like there cakes are so boring looking... my friend lives in massapequa- and her cakes are always sooooo pretty....

Any reco's?

No bakery recommendations, but just wanted to let you know that most bakeries give one of those small cakes for the child to dive into free for a 1st birthdayChat Icon Chat Icon

I was going to recommend Benkerts also. They'll make you whatever you want -- and they are an outstanding bakery!

Create a Cake in Port Jefferson Station. I just got Emma's Baptism cake there - they did a great job.

I 2nd Audreys. Their cakes taste great, and they do very "different" cakes. Do a search on LIW for grooms cakes...they did a ton of them and they're all amazing.

She loved it so much she got her son's first birthday cake from them.

Audrey's and Alpine are my favorite! Audrey's is kind of across the street from I think the St. John's sayville campus.

Re: Bakery (cool cakes) in Suffolk

The 2 that I was going to recommend were already mentioned.
Audreys and Benkerts.
I used to live over by Audreys - there cakes are AWESOME!!
And Benkerts did my wedding cake - we are very good friends with the owner, so they were very accommodating to us

ets - Audreys is in West Sayville across from the golf course. It is just west of the West Sayville fire department - on Montauk Hwy

take Nicolls to Sunrise Hwy West - to exit 49 (Lakeland Ave). Make a left on Lakeland and take that to Montauk Hwy. make a right on Montauk Hwy and go about 2 miles. Audreys is on your right.

here is their website
