Bakery Recommendations in Western Suffolk
My sister is planning my nephew's christening and looking for a local bakery that does good work and is reasonably priced. Pics would be great too
She's looking for a bakery that does great fondant cakes. Thanks so much.

Black Forest Bakery in Lindenhurst. They did my wedding cake and did an amazing job. We chose them after many, many recommendations.

DO NOT USE THEM! i am having a helll of a time with them right now. i bought a cake for my son's baptism. It was awful and they REFUSE to return my calls. They went as far as arranging a meeting with me and the girl who arranged it didnt show.
I am filing with the BBB ... steer clear!

ALPINE!!!!!! They are in Smithtown. The ONLY bakery I go to, they are soooooo good! I used them for my wedding cake bc I love them so much.

ALPINE!!!!!! They are in Smithtown. The ONLY bakery I go to, they are soooooo good! I used them for my wedding cake bc I love them so much.
ITA!! Just used them for my DD chrirstening cake!! Delicious!! I love the Rasberry filling as well as the fresh bananas!!

My mom & I went there for my baby shower cake & I wouldn't use them again either. They told us 1 price & then called back a week before the even t & tried to tell us that they had to raise the price - seriously? And then we got it & the 2 diaper pin drawings that were supposed to be on there looked like jellyfishes or penis' depending on who you asked. It was F-U-G! I had gotten cakes from them through caterers/@ restaurant parties in the past that were nice so I was pretty shocked 
ETA: I just looked at the pic and you also couldn't read what was written on the cake

We used them for DS christening cake also. We always get the cannoli filling in our cakes...SO GOOD!
