Baking for teenage boys... *UPDATE
I have a group of high school boys coming over to watch a soccer game with DH and my nephew.
They've requested I made Ina's brownie pudding again...
What else should I make along with that? How many things should I make?
I'm using this as an excuse to bake some things I've been eyeing in the food blogs!
Here are my ideas:
Smores cookies
Hot Fudge Sundae Cupcakes
Banana Bread Cupcakes
Strawberry Cake
*UPDATE:
I made the smores cookies and they were OUT OF THIS WORLD! They are definitely a fun dessert and they were basically all gobbled up in one day.
I did a trial run of the strawberry cake 2 nights before and my family ate it right up, but it didn't go over as well with the boys.
I also made Ina's brownie pudding which was the big hit of the day!
I ended up making fresh guacamole (served with tortilla chips) and some onion dip too (with pretzels).

Re: Baking for teenage boys...
Definitely the smores cookies and definitely some type of cupcake.
I would also do a fruit platter with homemade yogurt/cream cheese dip..... If they're soccer players too they might want a healthy option too.

Do you have the Brownie Pudding Recipe?
Here you go!
I leave out the liqueur and make it in basically a HUGE ramekin-looking baking dish (round, not oval).
It comes out like a gigantic molten lava cake. DELISH!
